We had been eagerly anticipating the arrival of Salem's lambs for several weeks now, not knowing exactly when they were due. On Monday, August 17th she had them. We were fortunate to receive another set of ewe lambs. Mom and babies are doing well. We are always amazed at how hardy these little sheep are. They are out of Locksfield Salem and Fletcher Crescendo.

Baby Ducklings
This Muscovey hen had been hardly seen for the last month or so. This was why. I've read that Muscovey's were good sitters and mothers, apparently it is true. The hen and drake came here last fall from somewhere. They had to be handraised, as they aren't afraid of people and like to be in the barn (eating grain from the calves pails!).
